Position Description

Location: Located in the southeastern corner of Alabama and just 20 miles from Georgia and Florida. The county has a population of approximately 100,000 and is a progressive city that has embraced the new South while maintaining the southern charm and values of the past. Only an hour and a half to white sand beaches on the Florida Gulf coast and a short drive to the state's capital, Montgomery or just three hours to Atlanta or Birmingham.

Healthcare Organization: Community-based academic health system and not-for-profit medical center

Opportunity: Seeking a Palliative Care Physician Assistant for a full-time, hospital-employed practice opportunity

*Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
*No call required and no weekends
*PA will provide inpatient consultations in critical care, oncology, neurology, cardiology, and general medical and surgical units
*No outpatient responsibilities
*Adult Palliative Care service
*EMR is EPIC
*$15,000 commencement bonus

Compensation: Hospital-employed opportunity offering competitive compensation dependent on experience. $15,000 commencement bonus. PTO, Paid malpractice with tail, annual allowance for professional fees and CME, retirement plans, and more. Student loan repayment options as a PSLF eligible employer.
