NPAA Elections End October 22

VOTING IS LIVE!!! NPAA Officer Election Ballot! Participate in the 2023 officer vote. This electronic ballot shall be open till October 22, 2023. All voting members in good standing as of the date the ballot is posted for voting shall be eligible to vote. A plurality vote shall be sufficient for election. In the event of a tie vote, the decision shall be made by a ballot of the Steering Committee.
You may only vote once. Any additional votes will be automatically eliminated by the system. Please check your email!

Skylar Couch - President-Elect
Skylar Moore Couch is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of experience as a nurse in Alabama, with eleven of those years being a certified registered nurse practitioner. She earned an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Northeast Alabama Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Jacksonville State University, a Master of Science degree in Nursing with Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Troy University, as well as a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Troy University.
Sharon Bargainer- Vice President Membership
Sharon Barganier has been in healthcare for over 20 years. Her nursing career started as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and currently is working as a nurse practitioner (NP). She obtained my Master of Science in Nursing at Auburn University with a concentration in Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Graduating with academic honors and memberships with Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Gamma Beta Phi Society, and Golden Key International Honor Society. She is the owner of a health and wellness clinic, Healthology Heath & Wellness Clinic, where her mission is to promote healthcare access to a diverse patient population, providing disease prevention and health promotion services.
Jessica Rollins- Member at Large
Jessica Rollins, A-GNP-C is a Montgomery, AL native who received her Masters of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing in 2016 as a Primary Care Scholar. She currently serves the citizens of Montgomery, AL and surrounding counties through Baptist Health Care Partners as a full time Nurse Practitioner. She has co- authored one presentation titled “Leading the Way in Primary Care” in 2016 at the NRHA National Conference.
Jen Wilson - Secretary
Jen Wilson is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 30 years of experience in the medical field. She earned an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Wallace Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Auburn University Montgomery, a Master of Science degree in Nursing with Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from the University of South Alabama, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Troy University. A lifelong learner, Jen went on to obtain her Legal Nurse Consultant certification from Auburn University, a Certificate of Obesity Management in Primary Care from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has completed several courses in advanced hormone management. In addition to serving as faculty in the MSN and DNP programs at Troy University, she is the Nurse Practitioner for both the City of Prattville and Lawson Aesthetics and Medspa.
Brittney Brasington - Student Member at Large
Brittney is a registered nurse who specializes in Dermatology and aesthetics. She has been a nurse for eleven years and recently decided to return to school to obtain her nurse practitioner degree.
